Caus Castle is a ruin of a hill fort and medieval castle in Westbury, Shropshire, England. It sits on the eastern foothills of the Long Mountain, guarding the historic route from Shrewsbury to Montgomery on the England-Wales border [1]. The site was later developed into a large motte-and-bailey structure with some upstanding masonry [2]. The castle was destroyed during the English Civil War and has remained in ruins since [1].
