EnglandThe Wrekin is an Iron Age hillfort in east Shropshire, England, dating from 1500–500 BC [1]. It rises 407 metres (1,335 ft) above sea level, located about 8 km (5 mi) west of Telford [1]. The hill is a prominent landmark visible from the M54 motorway and is contained within the northern salient of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty [1]. The site features defensive earthworks on its summit, making it a significant archaeological site in the region.
