Castles Camp

Castles Camp is a univallate Iron Age hillfort in the Taunton Deane district of Somerset, situated approximately 1.6 km west of the village of Bathealton [1]. The fort is defined by a single line of earthwork defences typical of univallate hillforts [1] [2]. The hillfort sits within a Somerset landscape containing numerous contemporary defensive settlements, including notable sites such as Cadbury Castle and Ham Hill [1] [3].
