Black Ball Camp is an Iron Age hillfort located on the northern summit of Gallox Hill, south-west of Dunster in Somerset, England[1]. The fortified site features a 3-metre-high rampart and a 2-metre-deep ditch, indicating substantial defensive architecture from the period[1][2]. It is a Scheduled Monument and is also known as British Camp, with possible associations to Bat's Castle[1]. At the beginning of the 20th century, foundations of a stone tower were visible on the site, though these are no longer present[2].
