Broomfield Camp

Broomfield Camp is a univallate Iron Age hill fort in the Taunton Deane district of Somerset, England, situated approximately 0.6 miles (0.97 km) south-east of the village of Broomfield[1]. The earthwork dates from late prehistoric or Roman times and features a defensive bank with a ditch[1]. The site was searched in 1968, uncovering a trench through the bank and ditch which produced Iron Age pottery, confirming the site's prehistoric origins[1].
