Horse Pool Camp

Horse Pool Camp, also known as Whitestaunton Camp, is a univallate Iron Age hillfort in South Somerset, England, situated about 1.6 km west of Whitestaunton near the Devon border. The oval enclosure measures approximately 300m long by 150m wide, defined by a single bank and ditch. It forms part of a network of hillforts across the Blackdown Hills region that served as defensive and communal gathering sites during the Iron Age. The site is a scheduled monument reflecting the widespread hillfort-building tradition of southern England.
