Nea Roumata Archaeological Site

Nea Roumata is an archaeological site of an ancient Minoan tomb near the village of Nea Roumata in Chania regional unit, Crete, Greece. The site features a small Early Minoan I tholos tomb constructed from river bed rocks. Archaeological excavation uncovered a single burial with two vases, and the tomb's architectural style closely parallels contemporary Cyclades tombs, highlighting cultural connections during the Early Minoan period.
