Apodoulou

Apodoulou is a Minoan settlement in the Amari basin of Crete, located 450 metres above sea level overlooking the Libyan Sea[1]. The site was inhabited from the Late Neolithic period through the Late Minoan era, with the main building complex in use during Middle Minoan III (c. 1950-1600 BC)[2]. The settlement was destroyed by fire at the end of Middle Minoan II around 1700 BC, though habitation continued afterward[2].
