Abodiacum was a Roman road vicus (settlement) in the area of Epfach, part of Denklingen in Upper Bavaria, Germany [1][2]. The settlement existed from approximately 30 BCE to 640 CE, spanning over 600 years [3]. The Museum Abodiacum displays 400 years of Roman history with models of buildings and fortifications from the 2nd and 4th centuries [4][5]. Notably, Claudius Paternus Clementianus, a governor of the Roman province of Noricum, originated from this settlement [6].
