GermanyMenosgada was a Celtic metropolis on the Upper Main river, mentioned by the Greek geographer Ptolemy [1]. It was probably located on the hill known today as the Staffelberg in present-day Germany [1]. This large settlement was one of the most significant Celtic urban centers in the region during the Late Iron Age.
