Swinside

Swinside (also known as Sunkenkirk and Swineshead) is a Neolithic-Bronze Age stone circle on Swinside Fell, part of Black Combe in southern Cumbria, North West England. One of approximately 1,300 stone circles in the British Isles and Brittany, it was constructed during a megalithic tradition spanning 3300 to 900 BC [1]. The ring measures about 26.8 metres (93.8 ft) in diameter [1].
