Glannoventa is a Roman fort and naval base at Ravenglass in Cumbria [1]. The fort appears in Roman records under various names: Clanoventa (2nd-century Antonine Itinerary), Glannibanta (4th-century Notitia Dignitatum), and Cantiventi (6th-century Ravenna Cosmography) [1]. The site served as a key military installation controlling the northwestern coast of Roman Britain.
