Teufelsrutsch ("Devil's Slide") is a densely wooded porphyry knoll in Rhenish Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, offering views over the Wiesbach valley. The remains of a Celtic stronghold have been found nearby, indicating Iron Age occupation of this strategic hilltop. Below the viewing platform lies the Schinderhannes Cave, a 60-meter-deep ancient cinnabar mine active from the 14th century until 1790. The site's name derives from a local legend in which residents of nearby Wendelsheim tricked the devil into sliding down the stony slope. The area is now a protected nature reserve due to its geological and archaeological significance.
