Verlamion

Verlamion (or Verlamio) was a major Iron Age settlement and the capital of the Catuvellauni tribe from approximately 20 BC until after the Roman conquest of AD 43[1]. Located on Prae Hill, about 2 km west of modern St Albans[1]. It served as the royal seat of King Tasciovanus, who likely moved the tribal capital here around 25-5 BC[1].
