Wilbury Hill Camp

Wilbury Hill Camp is a late Bronze Age hillfort situated southwest of Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire, England[1]. It forms part of a line of six similar hill forts along the northern Chiltern Hills[1]. The site is designated as a Scheduled Monument[1]. The fortification consists of two concentric circular defences, each comprising a single bank with an external ditch[1]. Although the earthworks are no longer visually prominent on the ground, distinct cropmarks caused by buried archaeological features have been recorded through aerial photography since the 1950s[1].
