Duddo Five Stones is a Neolithic stone circle in North Northumberland, England, situated approximately 6 km (4 mi) south of the Scottish Border[1]. The site originally featured seven stones; excavations in the 1890s revealed empty socket holes for two missing stones on the western side[1]. Known as the Four Stones until 1903, a fifth stone was re-erected that year to improve the skyline[1]. The surviving stones are constructed from soft sandstone that has become deeply fissured through natural weathering[2]. The circle dates to approximately 3300-2200 BC[2].
