Sweetworthy

Sweetworthy is an Iron Age defended settlement at Luccombe, on the north-facing slope of Dunkery Hill, Somerset. The site comprises two enclosures: one with a single rampart and external ditch enclosing approximately 0.25 hectares, with the ditch on the east side still used as a trackway. A second defended settlement sits above the main site. The location also contains remains of a deserted medieval settlement, making it a multi-period archaeological site designated as a Scheduled Monument by Historic England.
