Knook Castle

Knook Castle is an Iron Age univallate hillfort on Knook Down in Wiltshire, England, located near the village of Knook but largely within the civil parish of Upton Lovell [1]. The site features a roughly rectangular plan with a single entrance on the south-south-east side and a later break in the western wall [1]. It has also been interpreted as a defensive cattle enclosure associated with nearby Romano-British settlements [1]. The site is a scheduled monument [1].
