Heelstone Ditch

Heelstone Ditch is a roughly circular earthwork surrounding the Heel Stone at Stonehenge, England [1]. The ditch has steep sloping sides ending in a narrow flat base, measuring approximately 1.2 metres deep and 1.1 metres wide, with a diameter of roughly 9.7 metres [1]. It lies about 3.7 metres from the base of the Heel Stone, though it remains unclear whether there was an intentional relationship between the two features [1].
