Moel Tŷ Uchaf

Moel Ty Uchaf is a Bronze Age ring cairn (often called a stone circle) near Llandrillo, Denbighshire, North Wales, sited at 440 metres elevation on the western edge of the Berwyn Range. It consists of 41 to 43 stones forming an almost perfect circle approximately 12 metres in diameter, with a central cist suggesting burial use and an outlying stone to the north-northeast. The alternating large and small stones and a gap to the southeast, possibly an entranceway, distinguish its design. Described by archaeologist Aubrey Burl as "almost perfect," it remains remarkably well preserved.
