WalesBeacon Ring (Welsh: Caer Digoll) is an Iron Age hillfort on the summit of Long Mountain (Cefn Digoll) in Powys, Wales, standing 408 metres above sea level [1]. The site consists of an oval enclosure measuring approximately 192 metres north-south by 130 metres, occupying the highest point of the ridge [2]. Long Mountain qualifies as a Marilyn with a topographic prominence of 305 metres [3].
