Vinča-Belo Brdo

Vinča-Belo Brdo is a Neolithic-Chalcolithic archaeological site in Vinča, a suburb of Belgrade, Serbia. The tell of Belo Brdo ('White Hill') is a mound composed almost entirely of stratified settlement remains, occupied from the Early Neolithic (c. 5700 BC) through to the Middle Ages. It serves as the type site for the Vinča culture [1].
