Viminacium was a major Roman city, military camp, and capital of Moesia Superior province (modern-day Serbia)[1]. It served as the provincial capital following Moesia's division in 87 AD after Domitian's Dacian War[1]. Only 3-4% of the site had been excavated as of 2018[1].
