Mihailovac

Mihailovac is an archaeological site and settlement near Vrsac in the Vojvodina region of Serbia. The site dates from the 2nd century BC to the 1st century AD and is associated with the La Tene culture, reflecting the Celtic presence in the region during the Late Iron Age. Excavations recovered pottery, personal accessories including jewellery and fibulae, and weapons characteristic of La Tene material culture. The site is part of a broader landscape of prehistoric settlements in the Vrsac area of the Serbian Banat.
