Vlajkovac

Vlajkovac is a village in the Vrsac municipality of Vojvodina, Serbia, notable for its circular earthwork with a diameter of approximately 300 metres, attributed to the Neolithic Vinca culture [1] [2]. Bronze Age graves of south Russian steppe nomads have also been found here [1]. The circles may have served as an astronomical observatory, possibly functioning as a summer counterpart to the nearby Vatin circles [3].
