Judeir-jo-daro

Judeir-jo-daro (also Damb Judeir) is a Mature Harappan period (c. 2600-1900 BCE) archaeological site in the Kachhi plain of Nasirabad District, Balochistan, Pakistan. The site consists of five small mounds divided by rainwater gullies, with surface surveys identifying Harappan-style pottery sherds. Located between the Indus River basin and the Balochistan highlands, it likely functioned as a trade node connecting core Indus regions to the highland interior. It is a federally protected site under Pakistan's Antiquities Act of 1975, though it faces significant conservation challenges from erosion.
