Chanhudaro

Chanhu-daro is an archaeological site of the Indus Valley civilization, located 130 km south of Mohenjo-daro in Sindh, Pakistan [1]. The settlement was inhabited between 4000 and 1700 BCE [1][2]. Excavations revealed it was a significant center for manufacturing carnelian beads, with evidence of specialized bead-making workshops [1][2]. The site consists of three low mounds covering approximately 7 hectares, representing a single urban settlement [1].
