Lakhmir Mound

Lakhmir Mound, locally known as Lakhmir-Ji-Mari, is a Chalcolithic archaeological site in the Naig Valley of Sindh, Pakistan, about 45 km from Sehwan Sharif. The mound consists of two parts: a conical hill and a lower section resembling a town. Archaeologist N.G. Majumdar noted Chalcolithic pottery fragments scattered across the mound and surrounding area, along with embedded stone walls from a prehistoric epoch and black-on-red pottery characteristic of the Indus Valley civilization.
