Siraj-ji-Takri

Siraj-ji-Takri is a Buddhist archaeological site along the western limestone terraces of the Rohri Hills in the Khairpur District of Upper Sindh, Pakistan. Its ruins are visible on top of three different mesas in the form of stone and mud-brick walls and small mounds, with additional architectural remains observed along the hillsides during surveys in the 1980s. The site includes structures resembling security posts on three corners and a complex of thick-walled rooms of burned brick, along with a central flat construction interpreted as a speakers' platform. Artifacts collected by researchers from Shah Abdul Latif University are housed in the university's Archaeology Museum.
