Kilclooney More

A Neolithic megalithic complex in County Donegal, Ireland, featuring two portal tombs built into a 26-metre-long trapezoidal mound, dating to c. 4000-3000 BC. The larger northeastern tomb has portal stones 1.8 m high and a dramatic capstone 4.2 m long, while the smaller southwestern chamber measures 1.5 m long and 1 m wide. Excavation recovered Neolithic pottery sherds of the Lyles Hill tradition (c. 3800-3500 BC), now held by the National Museum of Ireland. The site lies on the Loughrea Peninsula between Narin and Ardara.
