Knocknarea

4500–3000 BC: Knocknarea is a 327m hill in County Sligo, Ireland, crowned by one of Ireland's largest Neolithic cairns, Queen Maeve's Cairn, believed to contain an unexcavated passage tomb.[1] The hill features steep limestone cliffs on the Coolera Peninsula and overlooks the Carrowmore tomb complex, suggesting it was part of an ancient ritual landscape.[1] The cairn is a protected National Monument.[1]
