IrelandPoulnabrone dolmen is located on a low circular mound measuring c. 10 m in diameter [1]. The location would have been difficult of access at the time it was built, and it was probably used as a center for ritual into the Bronze Age [1]. The trapezoidal capstone is 3.9 m in length, between 2 m and 3 m wide, and is 0.3 m thick [1]. Two phases of conservation were undertaken in 1986 and 1988, and were overseen by Ann Lynch [1].
