Tripiti (also Trypiti) is the archaeological site of an Early Minoan settlement in southern Crete, Greece, built on the rocky hill of Papouri, 135 meters above sea level near the village of Lendas. Excavated by Antonis Vasilakis between 1986 and 1988, the fortified settlement yielded 36 rectangular rooms with walls up to 2 meters tall, dating from EM II to EM III-MM IA (approximately 2800-2000 BC). Finds include cereals, pulses, animal bones, and navigation tools indicating maritime activity. The settlement was abandoned without evidence of destruction and inhabitants relocated to nearby Kalokambos.
