GreecePylos is a town in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece, with origins dating back to the Neolithic period. It was a significant Mycenaean kingdom, home to the Palace of Nestor, named after the legendary king featured in Homer's Iliad. The site gained renewed historical prominence during the Peloponnesian War when the Battle of Pylos occurred in 425 BC.
