Fir Clump Stone Circle was a prehistoric stone circle located in Burderop Wood near Wroughton, Wiltshire, in South West England [1]. Built between 3300 and 900 BCE during the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age, it formed part of a widespread tradition of stone circle construction that spread across Britain, Ireland, and Brittany [1]. The purpose of these monuments remains unknown, though some archaeologists suggest the stones may have represented supernatural entities for their builders [1].
