Bevisbury

Bevisbury is an Iron Age plateau fort on a chalk ridge in Hampshire, England [1]. The fort uses a single bank and ditch construction, enclosing 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres) [1]. The earthworks are now largely destroyed and overgrown, though the southern ramparts survive best [1]. Several pits cut into the site were probably quarries, and a private house now occupies the north-east corner [1].
