Chisbury

Chisbury Camp is a prehistoric hillfort in the civil parish of Little Bedwyn, Wiltshire, covering approximately 14 acres at 176 m above sea level [1] [2]. Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age artefacts have been found nearby, but the hillfort itself was most probably constructed in the late Iron Age, around the 1st century AD [1] [3]. St Martin's Chapel, on the eastern edge, was built in the early 13th century [1] [3] [4]. Both the hillfort and chapel were designated a scheduled ancient monument in 1925 [1] [4].
