Tidbury Ring

Tidbury Ring is an Iron Age univallate hillfort in Hampshire, England, dating to 800 BC–1st century AD[1]. The earthworks suffered significant damage from ploughing, though southern sections remain relatively well-preserved[1]. The original entrance was positioned on the southeastern side of the fort[1]. Today the interior is farmland, with earthworks hidden beneath small trees and vegetation[1]. Archaeological work revealed two Roman buildings inside the hillfort, possibly representing the remains of a courtyard villa complex[1]. The site holds scheduled ancient monument status[1].
