England(800 BC – 1st c. AD) Sidbury Hill, or Sidbury Camp, is an Iron Age bivallate hillfort on the eastern edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. The sub-triangular site covers approximately 6.9 hectares (17 acres) and was built on the site of an earlier Neolithic settlement. The hill's natural defensive slopes are reinforced by double ditch and rampart earthworks. The settlement was partially excavated in the 19th century.
