Alderman's Barrow

Alderman's Barrow is a Bronze Age bowl barrow on Exmoor, England, serving as a burial chamber and later a boundary marker for the parishes of Exford, Exmoor, Luccombe, and Porlock. The turf-covered mound measures 24 by 22 meters and stands 1.4 meters high. Known as Osmunesburgh in the 13th century and Owlaman's Burrow in the 17th century, it received its current name in 1782. It was scheduled as a protected monument in 1934.
