Alderman's Barrow

Alderman's Barrow is a Bronze Age bowl barrow on Exmoor, England, serving as a burial chamber and later a boundary marker for the parishes of Exford, Exmoor, Luccombe, and Porlock [1] [2]. The turf-covered mound measures 24 by 22 meters and stands 1.4 meters high [2]. Known as Osmunesburgh in the 13th century and Owlaman's Burrow in the 17th century, it received its current name in 1782 [1] [2]. It was scheduled as a protected monument in 1934 [1].
