Meidum is an archaeological site in Lower Egypt. The complex includes a large pyramid and several mudbrick mastabas [1]. The Meidum Pyramid was Egypt's first straight-sided pyramid [2], though it partially collapsed in ancient times [3]. Located approximately 72 kilometres south of modern Cairo [4].
