EgyptThe Pyramid of Neferhetepes is a small subsidiary pyramid at Saqqara, built for Queen Neferhetepes, wife of Userkaf, the first king of the Fifth Dynasty [1] [2] [3]. She was the mother of Pharaoh Sahure [1] [2]. First recognized by C. M. Firth in 1928, the pyramid originally stood 16.8 m high with a base of 26.25 m and a slope of 52 degrees [3]. Today it survives only as a mound of rubble with its burial chamber exposed by stone robbers [3].
