AlbaniaAntigonea was an ancient Greek city in Chaonia, Epirus. The city was the chief inland settlement of the Chaonians and featured walls encircling the hill and a centre laid out on a Hippodamian grid plan [1]. It was sacked and burned by the Romans in 167 BC and never rebuilt [1] [2] [3].
