Ad Quintum

A Roman mutatio (way station) and thermal complex on the Via Egnatia near Bradashesh in present-day Albania. Built in the mid-2nd century AD, the site served as a rest stop where the two western branches of the Via Egnatia converged before continuing east through the Shkumbin valley. Excavations around 1968 uncovered a well-preserved bathhouse with five rooms, including an apsed dining exedra, a cold plunge-bath, and an apodyterium with surviving wall frescoes. The complex was occupied until the 4th century AD.
