Chew Green is a Roman military complex in Northumberland, England, 13 km north of Rochester and 14 km west of Alwinton [1]. Located beside Dere Street, the Roman road linking York (Eboracum) to Scotland, the site sits near the present-day Anglo-Scottish border [1]. Archaeological excavations have uncovered a complex of Roman military installations consisting of a fort, two fortlets, and two camps [1].
