Barranc de Gàfols (also called Pomeralet) is an archaeological site near Ginestar on the west bank of the river Ebro in Catalonia, Spain. It is one of the most significant Early Iron Age sites in the region, with continuous occupation from the Late Bronze Age through the First Iron Age. Discovered in 1988 and excavated from 1990 to 1998, the site revealed a small organized settlement of at least 13 enclosures separated by three rectilinear streets, dated to around 590-580 BC. The settlement shows early use of moulded mudbrick construction and evidence of Phoenician trade contacts from the Straits area.
