A 2nd-century Roman villa located 12 km from Tarraco in Altafulla, Spain, Els Munts is renowned for its exceptionally preserved mosaics[1]. The estate belonged to Caius Valerius Avitus, a duumvir of Tarraco, highlighting its status as a wealthy suburban residence[1]. As an integral part of the Tarraco archaeological ensemble, Els Munts is a UNESCO World Heritage site[2].
