The Roman Theatre of Tarraco was a Roman theatre built in Tarraco –present-day Tarragona, Spain–, the capital of the Roman province of Hispania Tarraconensis. Constructed at the end of the 1st century BC during the reign of Augustus, it was located in the area of the local forum and the port and was used for Roman theatrical performances.[1]
