The Roman Amphitheatre of Tarraco is a 2nd-century AD arena in Hispania Tarraconensis, the capital of Roman Spain[1]. Built near the provincial forum, it measures 130 by 102 metres and seated approximately 15,000 spectators[1]. The arena hosted gladiatorial combat and beast fights (venationes)[1].
