SerbiaRemesiana was a Roman city located beneath modern Bela Palanka in southeastern Serbia [1] [2]. Positioned on the Via Militaris between Naissus and Serdica, it became a major early Christian center under Bishop Nicetas [1] [3] [4] [5]. The site was declared an Archaeological Site of Great Importance in 1987 [1] [3].
